SPECIALIZED CERTIFICATES FOR
NEW JERSEY EDUCATORS
These graduate-level certificates provide clear pathways to state endorsements and career advancement. Each program aligns with New Jersey requirements and offers practical coursework that can be completed without stepping away from the classroom.
BILINGUAL / BICULTURAL EDUCATION
A 12-credit sequence preparing educators for the New Jersey Bilingual endorsement, with a focus on instruction for multilingual learners.
K-12
SUPERVISORY CERTIFICATE
A 12-credit program required in New Jersey for supervisors of instruction and curriculum leaders, opening pathways to administrative and leadership roles.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
A 15-credit program in linguistics, language acquisition, literacy development, and ESL methods, leading to eligibility for the ESL endorsement.
TEACHER OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
Seven courses (21 credits) leading to the New Jersey endorsement. Can be taken as a stand-alone certificate or alongside initial certification.
